Bob Goebel, an ace who flew them.   "Lake Tahoe - Restoring a National Treasure" - 1999/2000 - CLICK HERE TO VIEW A ten-minute documentary piece to be shown to U.S. Legislators focusing on the environmental concerns surrounding the Lake Tahoe Basin.   "A Hollywood Affair" - Oscar Night Celebration - 1999 More than 600 guests and Hollywood celebrities gathered to watch the Academy Awards in grand fashion at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento, CA. We covered the event. "The Grand Gatsby" - Celebrity Benefit and Gala - 1998/1999 - CLICK HERE TO VIEW A costumed benefit dinner set in the 1920's featuring local celebrities, a big band group and vintage cars from the Towe Museum. We covered the event for two years. Placer County's California State Fair Exhibit - 1999 - CLICK HERE TO VIEW "Gateway to California" won People's Choice, a Gold Award, Best Use of Technology, Special Effects or Animation, Best Innovation, and Best Content. We produced a documentary film and did the sound effects for steam locomotives and railroad construction explosives in this highly interactive exhibit. Judy Collins "A Christmas Concert" - 1998 - CLICK HERE TO VIEW (excerpts) An intimate evening with Judy Collins, who charmed all in attendance with heartfelt renditions of her favorite Christmas carols. Java City's "Golden Cup" Award Presentation Video - 1998 A thirty-minute piece saluting Java City staff and managers and celebrating18 years of business. Placer County's California State Fair Exhibit - 1998 "Golden Discoveries" won Best of Show, a Gold Award, People's Choice, Best Use of Technology, Special Effects or Animation and Best Innovation. We produced the featured six-minute video depicting Placer County's "golden" history from prehistoric times to the Gold Rush to how gold is used today in Placer County's high tech companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Roseville Telephone and Pasco Scientific. We also did voiceover and sound effects for a fully-functioning volcano, dinosaurs, miners and other animated characters in the exhibit. Placer County's California State Fair Exhibit - 1997 - CLICK HERE TO VIEW "Step into the Gold Rush" won Best of Show and Best Animation. We produced voiceover and sound effects for animated characters in the saloon scene. The exhibit was so popular, it returned in 1998 for a second run at the State Fair. Placer County's California State Fair Exhibit - 1996 "Have a Ball in Placer County!" won Best of Show, People's Choice, and Best Marketing.
